Keeping busy

Over spring break, I designed the baby room and worked on a linoleum block for printing.  Working full time, I often find it difficult to get my own artwork completed.  It is extremely important to me to continue to learn about my voice in the art world and constantly keep my hands, heart and mind savvy with materials and new ideas.  So I've decided that I work best with a tool as an extension of the hand and creating something that is very physical.  I've begun some simple linoleum prints.  I'm excited about continuing to explore my ideas through a process that is still beautiful and permanant, but allows me to take it with me when I travel.   We'll see what happens.
